The Archer is a Charleston restaurant, opened in August of 2024 by the same team behind Berkeley’s. An upscale take on the classic American tavern, The Archer is on path to becoming a neighborhood staple.

Charleston Wine & Food
Charleston Wine & Food is one of the biggest annual culinary events in Charleston. In March 2025, The Archer participated by hosting a six course wine dinner.
Below is the menu - complete with a custom font and handcrafted layers - created for the event.
Owners Marc and Liz Hudacsko work hard to ensure that The Archer feels like a welcome stomping ground for all guests. From this goal came the idea for the below project, “Icebreakers”.
A small pineapple-shaped container balanced on the bathroom counter is home to small paper slips with affirmations, fun facts, icebreakers, and cheesy jokes. Launched in September, these slips of paper have quickly become a staple at the restaurant, with returning guests heading straight to the back for their icebreakers. Since then we have introduced seasonal and themed icebreakers into the rotation.
Valentine’s Day is consistently one of the busiest days in restaurants, especially designated “date spots” like The Archer. This year, we decided to make it just a little bit more special for our guests by creating themed icebreakers for the couples. Each icebreaker is stamped and assembled by hand.
